VivyaSense is a product of Vivya Corp (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”), part of the V R Della Group, registered in India and the United States (Princeton, NJ).

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use vivyasense.com and the VivyaSense platform (“Service”).

By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

2Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Account registration: name, email, company name, job title, phone number
  • Contact form submissions
  • Demo booking information
  • Support requests and communications
  • Contract and billing information

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, session duration, click events
  • Device information: browser type, operating system, screen resolution
  • IP address and approximate location (country/city level)
  • Log data: server logs, error reports, API call logs

2.3 Camera Feed Processing Data

VivyaSense processes your organization's camera feeds solely to deliver the AI detection service you have contracted for.

What We Process:

  • Live RTSP/ONVIF video streams from your cameras (real-time processing)
  • Short video clips (15–30 seconds) captured when a detection event occurs

What We Do Not Store:

  • Continuous video footage
  • Any footage from periods where no detection event occurred
  • Biometric data or facial recognition data (in standard deployment)

Retention:

  • Alert video clips: 90 days by default (configurable to 30 or 180 days)
  • Detection metadata (timestamp, type, zone, confidence score): 12 months
  • Clips deleted automatically per your configured retention period

3How We Use Your Information

3.1 To Provide the Service

  • Process camera feeds and generate safety alerts per your configured rules
  • Deliver alerts via your chosen channels (email, Teams, WhatsApp, API)
  • Provide dashboard access and analytics
  • Authenticate users and manage access

3.2 To Improve the Service

  • Analyze anonymized usage patterns to improve platform performance
  • Train and improve detection models using anonymized, aggregated data (never identifiable footage)
  • Diagnose and fix technical issues

3.3 To Communicate With You

  • Send service notifications and updates
  • Respond to support requests
  • Send product update communications (you may opt out at any time)
  • Send invoices and billing communications

3.4 Legal Compliance

  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations in India, the US, and other jurisdictions where we operate
  • Respond to valid legal process
  • Enforce our Terms of Service

4Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data or camera footage to third parties. Ever.

We Share Data Only With:

4.1 Infrastructure Providers

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — cloud hosting and storage
  • These providers are bound by data processing agreements and process data only on our instructions

4.2 Analytics and Operations Tools

  • Limited usage analytics (no camera data)
  • All such providers are bound by strict data processing agreements

4.3 Legal Requirements

  • We may disclose information if required by valid legal process (court order, subpoena, or government request) in applicable jurisdictions
  • We will notify you of such requests where legally permitted to do so

5Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

  • All data in transit: TLS 1.2+ encryption
  • All data at rest: AES-256 encryption
  • Alert clips: Stored in encrypted private cloud storage (not publicly accessible)
  • Access controls: Role-based access, multi-factor authentication available
  • Regular security assessments
  • Incident response plan maintained

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, as required by applicable law.

6Data Retention

Account Data: Retained for the duration of your contract plus 2 years, then deleted or anonymized.

Camera Alert Clips: 90 days by default. Configurable to 30 or 180 days. Automatically deleted per your configured retention period.

Detection Metadata: 12 months by default. Configurable.

Billing and Contract Records: Retained for 7 years per applicable tax and accounting regulations.

7Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • ACCESS the personal data we hold about you
  • CORRECT inaccurate personal data
  • DELETE your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • RESTRICT processing of your data
  • DATA PORTABILITY — receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • OBJECT to certain processing activities
  • WITHDRAW CONSENT where processing is based on consent

11Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do:

  • The “Last Updated” date at the top changes
